I'm sitting here with cold feet. Seriously, my feet are cold. I don't wanna put socks on though. I'm too lazy, plus I'm about to crawl into bed.

Well, I sure am glad to see that everyone I've talked to or read in their journal, that they're okay, even if their homes aren't.

Katrina can really kiss my ass. It can just kiss it and rot and die and rot some more. I'm fine and my house is fine and my family is fine, but the Gulf Coast and Louisiana...wow. All I can say is, it will take years. It sucks.

Oh well, all we can do is take it one day at a time and do our best to live normally, happily, or whatever. I know that's what I plan on doing. I just want to go back normal as soon as possible. I'm just doing things that make me happy, things to occupy me and my mind. I've been doing some reading, a lot of writing in my other journal. Jen just left today, she spent the night last night. It was good having a friend finally.

I've also been talking on the phone and e-mailing a great guy whenever he has free time. Unfortunately he's in California so I can't see him. It sucks. But I will in December and that's great. Each day is gonna pass so slowly though. One day at a time though, one day at a time. I really miss him though. As soon as I get off the phone with him I miss his voice and it seems like every e-mail is never long enough, no matter how long it is. Okay, I'm gushing a little, lol. He makes me happy though.

Again, I'm really glad to hear everyone made it okay and I hope the best for everyone!

Good afternoon all!! How are you?

I'm good. I'm great. At least considering the DMV should burn to hell and I still don't have a car. But I figure if there is a God of any sort whatsoever, things will look up for me...eventually. Plus, I'm listening to The Killers. I love 'em, they get me in a good mood. Great music!

I'm ready for school. I'm ready to be social again. Not that I haven't been social this summer, trust me, I have. I'm just ready to be social with EVERYONE. haha.

I love singing at the top of my lungs, dancing, and playing air instruments to blaring music when no one is around. It's so fun. It's great to be silly. haha. Great music!

I never update. I never comment. Let's get on the ball.

I'm feeling really frustrated right now. Feeling frustrated about an assortment of things. I'm frustrated about school and how summer's almost over, yet anxious. I'm frustrated because I feel like I have loss of control over so many aspects right now, but I'm really hoping that fades. I'm in a "take charge" mood right now. I just wanna get things done, get things off of my chest, open up, and just put things out there instead of keeping them inside. I'm kinda pumped up actually, but I can't do anything about it at the moment, and that pisses me off. I also feel like I'm whining, but it's my journal and I'm sure that at least one person reading this has felt similar feelings as I am. I'm actually not whining just venting I guess. I don't know how to put it. I feel something so I'm writing it, finally. I do feel better though. Writing this down, reading it...I can let out a sigh now, but not quite a sigh of relief, I'm not relieved. I need to talk. That's what I need to do. This will pass, no worries.

Anyway.......now that I've gotten that out of the way, lol. Let's see. Like I said, I'm in a "take charge" mood right now. I just feel empowered, like I can do anything I seriously, genuinely set my mind to. I love that feeling. It just sucks that I have that feeling late at night when I can't really do anything about it except for vent here on the ElJay.

I wanna know what school's gonna be like. I need a car. Someone give me a car. Someone sell me a car. If you know of a car being sold $3000 or under, please let me know. The clock is ticking. I need a car.

The past 2 days have been quite a ride.
I had fun though no doubt about that.
I got no sleep Friday night, so I stayed up 32 hours straight. I worked 8 hours of that.
I got 15 hours of sleep to make up for it. I'm still sleepy though. I dunno if it's because of lack of sleep or too much.

It was fun, it's summer. Oh summer.

Ok, so we have a little over 3 weeks til school starts. Now's crunch time. Now's the time to get all my shit together and be totally prepared, orgnaized, satisfied, and 100% ready! At least that's how I feel. I always get like this at the end of the summer. I want everything to be perfect. Every little thing. I wanna be prepared for everything that comes my way, then when 2nd semester is creeping up on me, I slack a little. NOT THIS YEAR! College isn't far away.

Anyway, senior portraits are coming up. And just in case you scroll down not reading this, lemme catch your attention. ATTENION: PREVIOUS SENIORS!! SENIOR PORTRAITS ARE COMING UP!! Ok, so I, and other friends of mine, are not getting much information. Critical information that we need. So, is this just yearbook, the formal/fun ones, or both? Also, do you show up and tell them which package thing you want or what? And how long do they usually take? I'm sure I have some more questions but those are the ones that spring to mind. I'd appriciate the help. Thanks!

We got a new monitor for the computer and now I can see what my friends see. It's 93784320570375 times brighter than the last one. I realize things that used to look red or a deep burgundy are really hot pink.

I'm singing really loudly because I have headphones on. Just my luck my dad will probably come in while I'm doing this. It's probably not a big deal to you, but it is to me.

I don't work today or tomorrow. I work Friday. None of my friends have come in to see me. If you want to see me at work, please come in between 6:00-10:00 on Friday.

I hate that I'm the only one out of my friends going to school the next 2 days. I have to take my Marine Science eventhough I'm exempt, because Switz doesn't really exempt people. And I have to take Pre-Cal just because I have one day I missed in there, because I kept falling asleep. I just checked out to get some sleep. UGH!! Whatever. Hopefully I can get my license Friday.

It's soooo HOT in here. My god, I'm about to die.

Ok so I closed last night, got home, worked on a Spanish paper that counts for 2 test grades that I had 2 months to do all in one night, then I went to sleep. I'm still not finished with the paper. I wrote it but I have to color a map, draw and color a flag, and my dad is currently out at Wal-Mart buying me a 3 pronged folder. Can anyone say PROCRASTINATION? Now I'm running on about 4-5 hours of sleep and I have to work again tonight. I know people who've gone on less and had to do worse. I'm not bitching, I'm just updating.

I know I'm gonna have it ready to turn in by 4th block and I don't mind working tonight, so I'm all good.
